Sobre o Habbo

O Habbo Hotel é uma comunidade virtual na forma de hotel, recomendado para maiores de 13 anos. Atualmente existem "hotéis" em 31 países,Com 178 milhões de personagens registrados (sendo mais de 28 milhões somente na versão em português), aproximadamente 9,5 milhões de visitantes por mês e 800 mil novos utilizadores por mês.O habbo de número 100 milhões foi criado em junho de 2008 e o Habbo 200 milhões foi criado em Janeiro de 2011.

Curiosidade: O habbo 100 milhões foi criado dia 1 de Junho de 2008 no Habbo Uk (agora Habbo.com) e possui o nick kikassqueen.

Por ter tido este previlégio, este usuário recebeu um Quarto Raro Especial, 1000 Habbo Moedas e um laptop MacBook Air novinho em folha.

História

Tudo começou em 1999, quando dois jovens finlandeses chamados Sampo e Aapo (conhecidos no Habbo como Apparatus e Kyrpov) criaram um aplicativo online chamado Mobiles Disco para compartilhar com os colegas. Mobiles Disco foi um projecto sem pretensões, feito no tempo livre, mas já parecia bastante com o Habbo. A ideia do jogo SnowStorm, por exemplo, surgiu nessa época, antes mesmo do Hotel. Na Mobiles Disco, Sampo e Aapo chamaram aquele jogo de Lumisota ("luta de bolas de neve").

Em agosto de 2000, o primeiro Habbo Hotel surgiu na Finlândia (chamado de Hotelli Kultakala = Hotel Peixe Dourado), seguido pelo Habbo UK em 2001. Ao longo dos anos, o Habbo tem chegado a vários e vários países, fazendo com que cada lugar tenha o seu próprio Habbo Hotel.

It's a Pod Extravaganza!

As this weekend comes to a close we see multiple new exciting furniture and events going on in the Hotel.

This weekend has been one to remember. With LTDs released along with new furniture, a pixel effect and the Ecotron being revised. Let's break down each of these new topics.

A widely anticipated event that will be introduced within the next few days are LTD Pods. These Pods are not just one color, but a combination of all the colors of the rainbow. A whole Rainbow Plasto collection will be introduced within the next few days too. Now each piece of Rainbow Plasto furniture will be released on the hour at some point in the day, but you better hurry up because every time they are released there's only a limited amount being sold.

Another new release is the release of the clear Plasto line. Each piece of Plasto furniture was released but this time they have a clear color. The most surprising thing of all is the price. Each piece of furniture is just one credit. This is surprising because the normal Pod would be three credits and up. Why the clear Pods cost less you may ask? Well a possible reason for the price to be so low could be that these Clear Pods can help feed the Ecotron.

The new Ecotron now takes three Plastic furniture and gives the chance of getting some super rare Black Plastic furniture in return. The most desirable of these prizes is the six furniture pack. In this pack you get a whole set of Black Plasto. The reason behind this being so desired is that the Black Pod has shot up in price. This leads us to believe that the Clear Plasto range was released for such a low price so that Habbos could buy those to use in the Ecotron.

Finally a new Pixel effect was released. The effect turns you into a Red Pod which appears strange the effect gives you small, stubby legs when you move around the room. However, when you stop walking your legs go away and you look like a normal Pod. We assume that the Pod is supposed to trick people.
